About the event
Description:
Psychogenealogy explores the influence of our ancestors on our lives, helping us to recognize the invisible threads that sometimes bind us to destinies that are not our own.
When we feel that we are living a life that no longer belongs to us, when we lose the meaning of our choices or find ourselves repeating stories we didn’t write, this work becomes a vital step in breaking free from a victim mindset and reclaiming our inner power.
Through the creation of the genogram (the psychic family tree), we will connect with the symbolic forces that move through and animate us.
We will use tools such as Nat cards – inspired by Burmese shamanic tradition – and self-discovery rituals drawn from shamanism to understand family bonds, recognize limitations, and activate latent potential.
The aim is not to “free ourselves from our ancestors,” but to transform our inherited legacy into inner allies and access the presence of our Daimon – the inner voice that holds the direction and mission of our soul.
Duration:
3-day workshop
From Friday, August 21 (afternoon) to Sunday, August 23 (afternoon)
Indicative Program:
The retreat begins Friday afternoon with a forest walk to reconnect with nature and our roots. After a shared dinner, we will introduce imaginal psychogenealogy.
On Saturday morning, we begin with a shamanic yoga session, followed by breakfast and the creation of the genogram (family tree). The day will be dedicated to working on it and connecting with the ancestors.
On Sunday, we will focus on the purpose of our lives and meet our Daimon.
