Description:
A practical course designed for those who want to learn how to edit, enhance and optimize their images without using expensive software.
Using a free, online alternative to Photoshop, you will learn how to correct colors, remove backgrounds, work with layers, and create images ready for social media, print, or e-commerce.
This course is designed for artisans, artists, and self-designers who want to become independent in creating their own visual communication, both online and on paper, through carefully crafted images without technical complications.
Duration:
6 weekly sessions, from August 30 to October 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
There is an option to have lunch together after each session (please bring something to share).
Location:
Ars Vitae Academy headquarters, Origlio.
Program:
Introduction to the platform and basic tools (with examples and exercises)
Layers, text, and simple compositions (with examples and exercises)
Color correction and photo retouching (with examples and exercises)
Cut-outs and backgrounds (with examples and exercises)
Layouts for social media and promotional graphics (with examples and exercises)

Facilitator:
Luisa Masciello combines over twenty years of hands-on creativity with digital skills in crafting original products.
With a background in Computer Science and experience in the international tech sector, she chose to dedicate herself to what she loves: creating, communicating, and selling authentically.
A self-taught visual communication specialist, she personally manages photography, graphics, and content for her online shop, proving how storytelling can be done with simple and accessible tools.
Today, she enthusiastically shares this experience through practical and inspiring courses to help other artisans and creatives shape and beautify their visual voice.
